Innovation and digital transformation: Smet Group awarded at the “Young Innovators Business Forum

Domenico De Rosa, CEO of Smet: “Important recognition of SMET’s contribution to the Italian innovation ecosystem”.

Innovation and digital transformation, excellence from the world of business and Made in Italy, investments, energy transition. These were the themes around which the 2nd edition of the ‘Young Innovators Business Forum’, hosted at the headquarters of the Milan Stock Exchange in Palazzo Mezzanotte, revolved.

The event – promoted by ANGI (National Association of Young Innovators) in collaboration with the European Parliament Offices in Italy and with the patronage of the European Commission Representation in Italy, the Digital Italy Agency, CNR (National Research Council), ENEA (National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development) and the Municipality of Milan – had among its protagonists Domenico De Rosa, CEO of the SMET Group, who was awarded during the initiative.

An act, this one, of great significance since the effort made daily by SMET, a leading company in the logistics and transport sector, in the innovation of its management processes, which has important repercussions on the country system, was recognised.

“I am enormously proud to receive at the Palazzo della Borsa in Milan the Innovation Business Award for the important contribution made by SMET to the Italian innovation ecosystem, in support of the development and growth of our country,” explained Domenico De Rosa. “This recognition goes to all those who every day, together with me, make an effort to improve themselves, thereby also bringing about an evolution in the processes in which they are engaged, thus becoming the first actors of change.”

The ‘Young Innovators Business Forum’ is a unique event in the Italian and European panorama, which focuses on the excellence of the institutional, economic, entrepreneurial and academic worlds, turning the spotlight on the main challenges of the country’s ecosystem, with a special focus on growth and development opportunities, new technological trends, and the ecological and digital transition.
